Windows Phone 7 is Microsofts latest move to become the dominant player in the extremely competitive smartphone operating system market. Windows Mobile was quickly overtaken by other more powerful operating systems and has been shut down altogether. Windows Phone 7 has now become Microsofts primary weapon in this battle and several high-end smartphones are running this operating system. Samsung Omnia 7 - The Omnia 7 was introduced by Samsung as their Windows Phone 7 offering. This phone has the good solid feel of a substantial piece of smartphone hardware due to its metallic body and solid design.
